Robert Eberly (1916-1981) was an American singer, best known for being one half of the famous duo, The Eberly Brothers, with his brother Ray. The brothers were known for their smooth vocal harmonies and romantic ballads. Robert had a distinctive tenor voice, which complemented his brother's baritone. They had several hits in the 1940s, including "Moonlight Cocktail" and "Sleepy Lagoon." In addition to his career with his brother, Robert also had a solo career and appeared in films, including a cameo in the 1943 musical "This Is the Army." He died in 1981 at the age of 64.
